Tractor-Trailer Flips On New Jersey Turnpike (Updated) A driver escaped serious injury when his tractor-trailer overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike in Camden County, authorities said. The crash occurred shortly before 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24 on the turnpike southbound near milepost 27 in Barrington, according to New Jersey State Police spokesman Troy McNair. The driver lost control of his tractor-trailer, ran off the roadway to the right and overturned, McNair said. The driver sustained minor injuries, he said. One right lane of two lanes was blocked, 511nj.org reported. The crash remains under investigation.

In New Jersey, the most amount of snow from the Friday, Jan. 19 storm appears to have fallen in Hopewell Township (Cumberland County) and Mount Royal (Gloucester County), where 6.5 inches of snow were reported. Atlantic County: Dorothy, a section of Weymouth, got 6.4 inches, the most amount of snow across Atlantic County. Six inches fell in Atlantic City, 5.6 in Mullica Township, 5.5 in Mays Landing, and on average, between 2 and 6 inches across the county. Juvenile Charged In Fatal Shooting In South Jersey: Prosecutor A juvenile has been charged in the fatal shooting of a Gloucester County resident, authorities said. Two other people were charged with related crimes, they said. On Saturday, Dec. 2, at approximately 1:20 a.m., Woodbury City police were dispatched to Wing-Dickerson Park, at 36 Carpenter St., for the report of a shooting. Woodbury police found 21-year-old Ti’jere K. Jackson with a single gunshot wound to the chest, according to the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office. Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene.
