At 11:12 a.m., two vehicles and a truck were involved in the crash before the truck struck the building, at 792 Pompton Ave. compromising the structure, police said. Two drivers were extricated and transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The building is home to the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy.
Police, fire, EMS and other agencies are on scene, police said.
The roadway will be closed until the crash is cleared, police said. The fire department is working to shore up the building so the truck can be removed, police said.
