Allendale Woman Unscathed After Car Goes Through Building Into Desk An Allendale claims manager said her desk protected her after a car drove through her office building and into her workspace Thursday morning. Nancy Longo, 55 works at Thomas Freeman & Giglio Insurance Agency. She was typing at her computer when the car came through the building, sending her across the room on her chair. "It was just like what you see on television," said Longo of Garfield. "Everyone scattered." Longo says her desk was so heavy that it protected her. Check back for more.
