Fire crews in Morris County were quick to douse a truck that went up in flames on Route 80 Thursday morning, authorities said. The fire broke out in the eastbound lanes by Smith Road in Parsippany around 7:10 a.m., the Parsippany Troy-Hills Fire Department said. Photos from the scene show a UniFirst uniform rental company truck billowing with flames and smoking heavily. 4/21/22 07:11 District 6 was requested to RT 80 East by Smith Rd for the active vehicle fire. A Parsippany man was being held in the Morris County Jail on two outstanding warrants following a nine-hour standoff with local police and the area SWAT team, authorities said. Patrol officers were dispatched to a Smith Road home for a welfare check on Jesus Quintela, 40, around 4 p.m. Tuesday at the request of a family member, Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Chief Andrew Miller said.
