Hillsdale Car Fire Victim Airlifted With Severe Burns
A 20-year-old victim was airlifted from the parking lot of a Hillsdale swim club Sunday night with severe burns. AirMed One flew the victim to St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston with burns on his arms and throat after police, firefighters and EMS were summoned to the Stonybrook Swim Club on Cedar Lane off Piermont Avenue around 10 p.m., responders said. The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office was notified. The Bergen County Sheriff's Bureau of Criminal Identification collected evidence. Hillsdale police detectives were investigating. Nutley Man Flown With Serious Burns In Gas Stove Explosion (

A Nutley man was airlifted to the hospital with severe burns in a gas stove explosion over the weekend, initial reports say. Hackensack AirMed 1 landed at Washington Elementary School to transport the victim, 38, to Saint Barnabas Medical Center, several witnesses and those familiar with the incident told Daily Voice. Initial and unconfirmed reports say the man, 38, had burns covering more than 80 percent of his body. This is a developing story. Check back for more.

North Arlington Burn Victim Airlifted To Barnabas From Lyndhurst
A North Arlington woman was flown to St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston after she was severely burned Saturday afternoon in a cooking flashover. An ambulance brought the 45-year-old Madison Street victim to the Riverside County Park field in Lyndhurst, where an AirMed One chopper picked her up shortly before 1 p.m., Capt. Robert Reilly said. Reilly thanked Hackensack University Medical Center, along with Lyndhurst police, firefighters and Police Emergency Squad members who established the landing zone.
