The driver of a tractor trailer was flown to the hospital after apparently being cut off by a vehicle then crashing on Route 202 last week, responders said. Trio Hospitalized As Dump Truck Hauling Sand Hits 3 Cars, Flips In Hunterdon County, Police Say
Three people were sent to the hospital after a dump truck hauling sand crashed into three other vehicles and flipped over in Hunterdon County in the morning on Tuesday, Sept. 27, authorities said. A vehicle had stopped on Route 31 northbound near milepost 25 in Raritan Township attempting to turn onto 349 around 9:20 a.m., authorities said. A 77-year-old driver was killed and two others were hospitalized after a car-carrying trailer ran a red light and slammed into two other vehicles at a Hunterdon County intersection, authorities said. The victims involved in a Hunterdon County house fire apparently died in a murder-suicide, authorities announced. Kathryn Shern, 70, and Charles Shern, 71, were found dead of gunshot wounds inside the fire-damaged Whitehouse Station home on Sunday, July 3. Allentown Man Gets 3 Years State Prison For Hunterdon County Bank Robbery
An Allentown man was sentenced to three years in New Jersey state prison for his role in a Hunterdon County bank robbery, authorities announced. Felix Gil, 31, passed a note demanding money to a teller at TD Bank in Readington Township and fled with $500 in cash on June 30, 2021, DailyVoice.com reported. Gil plead guilty to third-degree theft on Nov. 19, 2021, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée Robeson said.
