Morris County Mourns Death Of High School Student Matthew Augustine After Long Illness
The Randolph community is mourning the loss of a beloved high school student. Matthew John Nuncio Augustine died in his family's loving embrace at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia on Friday, July 7 after battling a long illness. He was 15. Born in Denville, Matthew lived in Randolph Township his entire life and was preparing to start his sophomore year at Randolph High School, his obituary says. : Randolph High Grad Says 17 Students Were Victims Of TikTok Bullying
A 2020 graduate of Randolph High School has filed a lawsuit against the district claiming that officials neglected to investigate a series of TikTok bullying videos that targeted 17 students. Darcy Schleifstein says the students were the subjects of three videos involving bullying and harassment on the social media platform: “Criminals of Randolph," "Liberals of Randolph" and "Whores of Randolph,” DailyRecord reports citing court records. 19: Morris County HS Student Marks 4th Positive Case For District
A Morris County high school will remain open after a positive COVID-19 case was presented among a student Monday. Contact tracing was under way at Randolph High School, where students returned for in-person learning Tuesday, the Daily Record reports. The case marks the fourth in the district and the third in the high school. There have been 27 COVID-19 cases reported in Randolph since Oct. 1.
