At 8:06 a.m. police responded to the 700 block of Raymond Boulevard/Riverbank Park on a call of a body in the Passaic River, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said.  Officers found and recovered the body, and the male victim was pronounced dead soon after, Fragé said.  The incident remains under investigation, Fragé said.
