A mom of two, Castronova died sometime overnight due to unknown medical circumstances, the department said on Wednesday, Feb. 8. Castronova was hired as a dispatcher for the Bergen County Police Department before becoming an officer in Washington Township. Respected River Vale Veteran Detectives Promoted
River Vale Police Detective Lt. Peter Martin and Detective Sgt. Jared Arcidiacono were sworn to their new positions with family members, fellow officers and friends attending. Martin is the department’s domestic violence liaison officer, senior firearms instructor and property and evidence control officer.
