Man Stabbed Dead Outside Bar In Newark: Prosecutors
A 26-year-old Newark man was fatally stabbed outside of a bar in Newark early Saturday morning, according to authorities and Daily Voice sources. According to sources, Ferando Michael Villa Valdivieso was standing outside El Refugio Bar on Bloomfield Avenue when a fight escalated and he was hit in the head. Valdivieso was then stabbed with a sharp object, sources said. He was found by police lying on the sidewalk at 3:20 a.m.,according to Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Car Thief Charged In Hit-Run Crash That Killed Girl, 5, Crossing Newark Street: Authorities
A car thief has been charged in a January 2023 hit-run crash that killed a 5-year-old girl and wounded her dad and 2-year-old sister while they were crossing a Newark street, authorities said. Suhrell S. Proctor, 23, of Newark, was behind the wheel of a stolen vehicle when he struck the girl and her dad as they crossed 6th Avenue at North 9th Street on Jan. 31, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N.
