Baseball Fan, Family Man: Anthony Fusco, 79, Was Loved By All
Anthony “Tony” R. Fusco, 79, formerly of Park Ridge, died on Jan. 29, 2021.
Tony was born in New York City to Anthony Sr. and Philomena (Zero) Fusco. He grew up in Brooklyn and was a joy to all he knew him — he was known for his exuberant smile and mischievous personality.
Tony was a graduate of Saint Augustine High School in Brooklyn.
He married the love of his life, Eileen Gordon, on November 7, 1971 and enjoyed a successful career of 40 years with Citibank, before retiring in 2000.

Hank Steinbrenner "set an example for all of us in how comfortably he lived," his family said Tuesday as news of the New York Yankees' general partner and co-chairperson's death spread.
Henry G. Steinbrenner, who turned 63 earlier this month, died surrounded by his family at his home in Clearwater, Florida after a battle with a long illness, they said, adding that it wasn't related to the coronavirus.

Dean Caracciola, 16, 4th-Generation Nutley Resident 'Loved By All'
Dean Angelo Caraacciola, a lifelong Nutley resident, died Aug. 9. He was 16 years old.
Born in Livingston, he was part of the fourth generation of his family to call Nutley home. A junior at Horizon High School in Livingston, he was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. Gifted with an ear for music, he loved to hear his father play acoustic guitar and enjoyed playing Guitar Hero. He also loved Wheel of Fortune, Deal or No Deal and Family Feud.
