Water Main Break Jams Route 3 Near MetLife Stadium
A water main break certainly didn't ease rush hour traffic along Route 3 in East Rutherford Friday, Feb. 9. The break happened on the eastbound side, east of MetLife Stadium around 5 p.m., the New Jersey DOT website said. Two lanes and the shoulder were closed.

Driver Claims Tractor-Trailer Driver Caused Road-Rage Crash That Closed Route 17
The driver of an SUV that slammed into a utility pole, downing wires across Route 17 in Ramsey before dawn Monday, claimed that he was cut off by a tractor-trailer driver who kept going, authorities said. The 20-year-old Staten Island motorist, who received a summons for driving on the revoked list, told police that he was headed south on the highway when he got into a road-rage incident with the rig's driver shortly after 1:30 a.m., Ramsey Police Chief Bryan Gurney said. Tractor-Trailer Tips On Southbound Route 17 Ramp In Mahwah
MAHWAH, N.J. -- A tractor-trailer tipped on a southbound Route 17 exit ramp in Mahwah near the Ramsey border Saturday morning, tying up traffic and bringing a large emergency response. Township police, firefighters and EMS responded along with the New Jersey DOT, a wrecker and other towing rigs after the mid-morning crash at the Island Road ramp. There was no immediate word on injuries. Only a basic life support ambulance was summoned. At one point, two lanes were closed as a crew cleaned up the roadway. Northbound traffic was moving steadily.
