Two Hospitalized In Garfield Rollover Crash: Police Two people were hospitalized in a crash that left one vehicle overturned in Garfield Wednesday, Aug. 21, police said. Officers working a construction detail rushed to Monroe Street and Cambridge Avenue just before 1 p.m., where two cars had collided, the department said on social media. Officers helped one driver out of his vehicle unharmed while two occupants of the other vehicle were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, police said.

Catalytic Converter Thief From Paterson Caught Covered In Dirt, Leaves, Garfield PD Says Garfield police caught a catalytic converter thief red-handed, authorities said. A Monroe Street resident heard a noise and found Louis G. Cadet Jr., 35, of Paterson doing something under a parked vehicle shortly before midnight Wednesday, Capt. Richard Uram said.
