"The Real Housewives Reunion Dress Benefit Auction" was launched by Miami housewife and celebrity chef Ana Quincoces to benefit. Teresa Giudice, Jennifer Aydin, Jackie Goldschneider and Margaret Josephs donated items -- some valued at more than $5,000. Bidding starts Friday at 9 a.m. and will continue for two weeks. Israel’s largest bank and a Swiss subsidiary agreed in federal court in Manhattan on Thursday to pay $874.27 million to the U.S. Treasury, the Federal Reserve, and the New York State Department of Financial Services to settle offshore tax-evasion charges. ICE Arrests Dozens Of Fugitives In N.J, Elsewhere For Human Rights Violations
Nearly 40 fugitives from several countries were arrested across the United States last month, including in the Newark and New York areas, Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Thursday. A physician from Kearny extended his vacation in Spain at the last-minute before plunging to his death while on a hike with his fiancée, a new report says. A homeless man who hadn't seen his daughters in 24 years -- and who had never met some of his grandchildren -- was reunited with them with help from a concerned NJ Transit police officer, the agency said. Transit police in the Secaucus Junction station found 61-year-old Jose Lopez, who is homeless, Aug. 6. The former Monmouth County resident had traveled from Miami to meet with his long-lost children. A GoFundMe campaign has been started on behalf of Daniel "Dannyboy" Sirovich, a Kearny native who died Wednesday while vacationing on Ibiza off the southern coast of Spain. He and his fiance Kristi Kelly had been climbing Pedrera de Cala d’Hort when he slipped and plunged more than 80 feet, loved ones said. He was 34 years old.
