The search for a missing 10-year-old Franklin Lakes boy ended early Wednesday evening when he returned home after several hours, police said, adding that the youngster was OK. As a precaution, an EMS unit was responding to the home. "At 2:59 p.m. today, a Pulis Avenue resident reported that [the] 10-year-old child had left the home and was missing," police Capt. Maywood police arrested two men and seized more than an ounce and a half of meth, along with various amounts of cocaine, GHB and pot for sale after a Route 17 traffic stop led to the search of an Edgewater hotel room and a Lodi storage unit. An employee at a Colombian restaurant in Hackensack who just had a company vehicle stolen jumped into another and chased the thief, who city police said they caught after following footprints in the snow. Authorities continued to search the Hackensack River Monday afternoon for the body of a 39-year-old man whose friends told police drowned while trying to swim across to Bogota.
