Crash Downs Lane Of Route 4 In Hackensack
A crash closed a lane of Route 4 in Hackensack Thursday afternoon, Oct. 24. Traffic cameras appear to show a sedan and box truck at the scene at 4 p.m. Delays were being reported in the westbound lanes, east of Kinderkamack Road.

Crazy Day: Sedan Topples Pole In Series Of Hackensack Crashes
A sedan took down a utility pole during what became a day of severe crashes in Hackensack. The driver and a passenger got out of a Chevy Malibu on their own after it slammed into the pole outside the World Plaza Apartments on Prospect Avenue shortly before 7 p.m. Monday, June 5, city firefighters said. Both were taken to Hackensack University Medical Center -- the passenger with a broken leg and the driver with other injuries, both not life-threatening, responders said. Worker Falls 50 Feet From Hackensack Apartment Building Project
A worker survived a fall of nearly five stories from an apartment building under construction in Hackensack on Wednesday, authorities said. The 45-year-old framer from Newark was intubated in critical but stable condition at Hackensack University Hospital following the mishap on Kinderkamack Road near westbound Route 4 shortly before 1 p.m., they said. The victim “misstepped and fell approximately 50 feet onto a concrete slab,” Detective Capt.
