A Woodland Park driver charged in the hit-and-run death of a 31-year-old borough woman is an ex-con with a lengthy rap sheet, including an assault arrest in Hackensack just the other day, Daily Voice has found. Abdullah Parker, 57, was charged with vehicular homicide in the Oct. 15 death of Lillian Zamlout as she walked in the area of McBride Avenue and Hughes Place in town. Zamlout was taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center after Parker's black Honda Odyssey bounded onto the sidewalk and hit her, authorities said. Target Shooter, 73, Accidentally Wounds Himself At Passaic County Gun Range
A 73-year-old man accidentally clipped the tip of his index finger at a Passaic County gun range over the weekend, authorities said. Officers who responded to Gun For Hire at the Woodland Park Range on McBride Avenue around noon Sunday tended to the victim before EMS arrived, Police Chief John Uzzalino said. He was taken to St. Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment. As often happens, scanner listeners mistakenly shared word of the incident as a shooting at McBride and Lackawanna avenues instead of what it was.The chief thanked everyone for their concern.

Authorities Try To ID Occupant Killed In Fiery Stolen Car Crash In Woodland Park
A stolen car slammed head-on into a tree and burst into flames in Woodland Park before dawn Tuesday, killing an as-yet unidentified occupant, authorities said. Members of West Paterson Fire Department doused the blaze and extricated the deceased victim after the 2012 Ford Mustang crashed on McBride Avenue near Hughes Place around 5:30 a.m., Acting Police Chief John Uzzalino said. "It was a bad scene," Mayor Keith Kazmark said. The first responder at the scene, Borough Police Officer Derrick Morrison, found the blazing Mustang and a witness who said there was someone inside, Uzzalino said. …
