Jets Fire General Manager Amid Dismal Season The New York Jets housecleaning continues. Weeks after firing head coach Robert Saleh, the Jets, who play in East Rutherford and practice in Florham Park, have fired general manager Joe Douglas amid a dismal 3-8 record, ESPN reported.  Douglas was already on the outs at 1 Jets Dr., having not been consulted when the team fired Saleh amid a 2-3 start, ESPN said. Gang Green has gone 1-5 since firing Saleh and naming Jeff Ulbrich interim coach. Douglas reportedly left a $100 tip on a $101 order at River Grille Sunday.  He's done it the past two times he picked up food at the River Road restaurant, the New York Post reports. Bartender Ryan Holsten's girlfriend Cara Gaunno posed a photo of the receipt on Reddit, where it had garnered more than 9,000 clicks Monday.
