A student accused of marking a Glen Rock High School desk with anti-Semitic graffiti also conducted troubling online searches, authorities said. District officials “handled the matter by district policy,” Glen Rock Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. A Glen Rock High School student, five school staffers, a police officer and two EMTs were all hospitalized following exposure to a rat poison that the youngster brought in on Monday, authorities said. A threat of a mass shooting at a middle school in New York State last week somehow made its way to Glen Rock, where authorities said a student received a disturbing message. As many as 100 teens ran wild following Glen Rock High School’s graduation, stopping train service, damaging an event area and stealing a statue of the school mascot, authorities said. COVID-19 is taking its toll on schools in Bergen County's Pascack Valley. Westwood Regional Schools announced Sunday evening that all schools in the district would transition to remote instruction. Police: Swastika Found At Glen Rock School
A swastika was found drawn on the wall of a bathroom shared by Glen Rock's high school and middle school last week, authorities said Monday. "There are no suspects, nor has a specific intended target been identified," Police Chief Dean Ackermann said.
