Garfield Police Give Domestic Violence Victims A Lifeline GARFIELD, N.J. -- Giving those in need a lifeline, the Garfield Police Community Affairs Division donated 26 cellphones to domestic violence victims. The phones "help these victims feel safe knowing they can call 911 in case of an emergency," said Officer Jeff Stewart of the Community Affairs Division after the presentation was made to Alternatives To Domestic Violence (ADV) in Hackensack.
