Newly-Released Bodycam Footage Shows DUI Arrest Of Sean Higgins After Gaudreau Brothers' Deaths
CBS Philadelphia has released bodycam footage showing the moments leading up to the DUI arrest of Sean Higgins, who struck and killed NHL player Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew on Aug. 29, 2024, in New Jersey.
The 9-minute, 37-second video, obtained from the New Jersey State Police, captures 43-year-old Higgins, of Woodstown, being walked through field sobriety tests by officers. During the interaction, Higgins admits to consuming five to six beers since noon that day.

21-Year-Old Sussex County Man Charged In DWI Hit-And-Run Crash: Police
A Sussex County man was intoxicated when he drove away from the scene of a crash, authorities said.
Benjamin Johnson, 21, hit another vehicle while driving a Toyota Camry near North Shore and Sparta Avenue in Sparta around 3:30 a.m. on Friday, April 15, police said in a Monday release.
Johnson, of Newton, was subsequently found in the parking lot of QuickChek with his vehicle, which sustained heavy front-end damage, authorities said.
Johnson was found to be intoxicated and failed a series of field sobriety tests, police said.

22-Year-Old Woman Charged With Assault By Auto In Hoboken Crash: Police
A 22-year-old Essex County woman was charged with assault by auto after a DWI crash in Hoboken, authorities announced Thursday.
Nicole Schweininger, of Livingston, was charged with assault by auto, DWI, and reckless driving following the crash, which occurred near 501 Observer Highway around 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, Detective Lt. Danilo Cabrera said.
Schweininger was found to be intoxicated after she crashed into a second vehicle and hurt three passengers, Cabrera said.

Wayne Police: Unsteady Drugged Motorist Slams Car Into Mailbox, Shatters Windshield
A Pequannock motorist was under the influence of some type of drug – or drugs – when his car slammed into a mailbox in Wayne, shattering part of his windshield, police said.
Officer Robert Sova found Andrew Treible, 29, “having a hard time standing without support, with slurred speech,” after the 3 p.m. crash Friday at Packanack Lake Road and Newark Pompton Turnpike, Detective Capt. Laurence Martin said.
Treible “admitted ingesting legal prescription drugs,” after which the officer found a vape pen containing THC oil, Martin said.
