Three Guns Found, Two Suspects Seized By Police Following Englewood Rooming House Incident
Police responding to a disturbance at an Englewood rooming house found three guns -- all loaded -- and made two arrests, authorities said. A woman who became involved in a dispute with two residents and a non-resident at the home on James Street near Demarest Avenue told responding officers that she'd been threatened with a a knife. She also claimed that she'd seen one of the residents carrying a gun. No one was injured, but Detective Lt. Fred Pulice said police did find the three weapons during the Oct. 6 call. Elmwood Park Fugitive Wanted For Death Threats Captured By Glen Rock PD
A 19-year-old fugitive from Elmwood Park who was wanted for making death threats was arrested by a Glen Rock police officer after eluding capture for more than three months, authorities said. Vijor Lowery “had made threats toward an individual who is employed at a business in the Central Business District as part of ongoing hostilities,” Glen Rock Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. Teen Makes Death Threats Against McDonald's Worker, Massive Riot Breaks Out In Bayonne: Police
Five teenagers were in custody after one threatened a McDonald's worker sparking a riot in Bayonne earlier this week, authorities said. A 15-year-old boy made death threats against the worker at the McDonald's on 25th and Broadway, bringing police to the scene on Tuesday, Dec. 6, Bayonne Police Capt. Eric Amato said.
