Giant Joro Spiders With 4-Inch-Long Legs Headed To NJ, Pest Control Company Previously Warned
Large yellow-and-gray spiders with 4-inch-long legs that can fly through the air are heading to the Northeast and could show up this summer, according to multiple reports. Sightings of the Trichonephila clavata species known as "Joro spiders" have already been reported in 10 Eastern states, CBS News says. A New Jersey pest control company in January had warned that this might happen. 4NJ Pest, based in Flanders, said the spiders act as "pest controllers" in their natural habitats, however, their introduction to not-native species could be detrimental to the balance of local ecosystems.…

NJ Physicians Have State Licenses Pulled For Sexual Misconduct
A psychiatrist accused of sexually assaulting patients and two doctors who admitted doing so were permanently barred from practicing in New Jersey, authorities said Wednesday. Dr. Carl J. Renner, 66, of Glen Rock had previously pleaded guilty to charges that he intentionally touched six female patients “inappropriately and without legitimate medical purpose or their consent” during exams and procedures at his Hasbrouck Heights practice, state Attorney General Gurbir S. Community Mourns Hillsdale Native, Clemson Student Ryan Shoop, 20
Hillsdale native Ryan C. Shoop died on Oct. 31. He was 20 years old. Ryan was a 2016 graduate of Bergen Catholic, where he played lacrosse. He had been studying management at Clemson University in South Carolina. "Coming to grips with the death of a student is always difficult," said L. UPDATE: A veteran Hasbrouck Heights internist who's charged with sexually assaulting two female patients during office visits had his license temporarily suspended, authorities announced Thursday. UPDATE: A veteran internist from Glen Rock who was arrested at his Hasbrouck Heights office sexually assaulted a patient, authorities charged.
