A New York City cookie chain will be replacing a popular Bergen County ice cream shop that shuttered last month, BoozyBurbs reports. Chip City is slated to move into the Ridgewood storefront, previously occupied by Ice Cream by Mike. The ice creamery's last day in business was Sunday, Aug. 14. The space occupied for decades by Harold's Kosher Market will soon be home to a fast-expanding cafe chain, BoozyBurbs reports. Paris Baguette will be opening at 67A East Ridgewood Ave., which housed Harold's from 1977 until it closed in July 2020. Popular New York City food festival Smorgasburg is opening its first location in Jersey City. The open-air food market -- billed as the biggest in America -- is coming to the newly-transformed Harborside campus on Saturday, May 29, Mack-Cali said in a news release Monday.
