The parents association will sponsor an "Elvis Night" with Anthony Liguori Jr. portraying The King at the high school, with doors opening at 6 p.m. Snacks will be served until the show starts at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $40 at the door and $35 in advance.

Deborah Ebbinghousen, school liaison for the parents association, said this is the first time Elvis Presley's music will help the school.

"Every fundraiser we do here is for the students," Ebbinghousen told Daily Voice. "Every little bit helps. It's a fun evening out for the parents and the community."

Ebbinghousen said they hope to fill the auditorium, which holds 300.

A member of the Alabama Country Music Hall of Fame, Liguori performs his Elvis show at concerts, casinos and cruise ships throughout the country.

"He's an excellent performer, very talented," Ebbinghousen said. "I think [the audience] will like it."
