You Can Help Garfield Police Keep Kids Alive: Drive 25

GARFIELD, N.J. -- Garfield police are appealing to motorists to "Keep Kids Alive, Drive 25!" as another school year comes to an end.

The department's Community Affairs & Traffic Division is distributing placards bearing the 25 mph speed limit message for residents to place on their front lawns.

Police will rotate the placards throughout the city during the summer, when children are riding bicycles, playing and crossing city streets.
