Prosecutor: Garfield Machinist Secretly Recorded Undressed Victim

GARFIELD, N.J. -- A Garfield machinist secretly was released without bail after being charged with recording images of a victim "in various states of undress," authorities said Tuesday.

Richard Erszkowicz, 44, of Pierre Avenue was charged wto counts of invasion of privacy, acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.

Members of Grewal's Compouter Crimes Unit and Garfield police arrested Erszkowicz on Monday after the victim contacted authorities, the prosecutor said.

A first appearance was scheduled for June 20 in Central Municipal Court in Hackensack.
