LODI, N.J. -- Lodi police turned to the public for help Monday investigating a borough resident's report that two men mugged him for his wallet.
The Washington Street man said he was walking home when two black men in their early 20s with thin builds accosted him just before 11 p.m. Sunday, Lt. Robert Salerno said.
Both came up from behind, knocked him to the ground, took the wallet from his back pocket and fled, the man told police.
Anyone who saw anything, has information about the report or has a video surveillance camera in the 100 block of Washington Street is asked to contact Lodi Detective Marinua Keyzer: (973) 473-7600, ext. 8128.
