Knife-Wielding Robber Takes $150 From Lodi 7-Eleven

LODI, N.J. -- A robber armed with a knife took about $150 from a Lodi 7-Eleven overnight Wednesday, authorities said.

The robber -- described as white, in his early 20s and about 5-foot-9 -- was wearing a black sweatshirt, khaki pants and black sneakers when he held up the Mid Towne Plaza convenience store on Main Street just after 3:30 a.m., Lt. Robert Salerno said.

Anyone who saw something or has information that could help investigators was asked to contact Lodi Police Detective Ricardo Rodrigues at (973) 473-7600, Ext. 8130.
