GARFIELD, N.J. -- A Garfield man with a criminal history was charged Wednesday with sexually abusing a minor.
James Catrillo, 29, is charged with criminal sexual contact, lewdness and child endangerment through sexual conduct, records show.
A judge ordered the Wood-Ridge native held in the Bergen County Jail pending a detention hearing.
Catrillo has a rap sheet that includes arrests on charges of assaulting a police officer in Cliffside Park in 2011, separate arrests in Little Ferry on drug charges in 2013 and tangling with Carlstadt police, also in 2013, records show.
