Authorities also announced the suspension of a Teterboro air traffic controller who was on the phone with his girlfriend, and a supervisor who was out of the building, at the time of the crash. Authorities didn’t draw a direct connection to the collision, but they noted that the investigation could take up to 18 months before results are announced.
