Click the headline for a shocking home video taken by a Italian tourist that shows last weekend’s mid-air collision over the Hudson River. The video could help federal investigators determine what happened in the collision of the small private plane carrying three people and the Liberty Tours helicopter, in which a pilot had taken five Italian tourists for a bird’s-eye ride.

Authorities also announced the suspension of a Teterboro air traffic controller who was on the phone with his girlfriend, and a supervisor who was out of the building, at the time of the crash. Authorities didn’t draw a direct connection to the collision, but they noted that the investigation could take up to 18 months before results are announced.
