Lidia Stanislawa Kirsch, 84, Formerly Of Garfield

GARFIELD, N.J. -- Lidia Stanislawa Kirsch, of Longwood, Fla,, died Monday, Aug. 29. She was 84. 

Born in Kolodziejow, Poland, she came to the United States in 1967 and lived in Garfield for 45 years before moving to Longwood four years ago. 

Prior to her retirement, she was a caretaker for many years. She was a dedicated parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church in Garfield. 

She was the mother of Halina Martinek and her husband Stanley and Wanda Iglar, both of Longwood, and Elizabeth Iglar and her husband Valentine, of Clifton; grandmother of Diane and her husband Bruno, Daniel, Richard and his wife Katherine, Michael and his wife Heather, Michelle and Patricia and her husband Michael; great-grandmother of Ashley, Kayla, Henry, Allison, Hailey, John, Anya, Elsie, Andrew, Matthew, Patrick, Max, Aubrey and Matthew; and sister of Stanley Kirsh, and his wife Irene of Pompton Plains. 

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kamienski Funeral Home of Garfield, 207 Ray St. Garfield. A funeral Mass is planned at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church, 184 Ray St. Garfield.
