GARFIELD, N.J. -- John Edward Panasovich, 78, of Garfield, died Sept. 5. He was 78.
Panasovich was born in Bellevue; he settled in Garfield many years ago.
He was employed as a medical records clerk for Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack before retiring. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1956-61 and was decorated with the Good Conduct Medal. He enlisted in the U.S. Army from 1961-65 during the Vietnam War, also receiving the Good Conduct Medal.
Visiting will be on from 4-6 p.m. Saturday at the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield. Interment will be at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown.
