GARFIELD, N.J. -- Alicja Pietrasiak, a resident of Garfield and formerly of Wallington, died Thursday, May 19. She was 74.
Born July 5, 1941, in Poland, she was the daughter to Antoni and Benedykta Pisarek.
She was a home health worker for many years and enjoyed reading, cooking and gardening.
She is survived by her daughter Bogumila “Ewa” and husband Stanislaw Roczkowski of Lockport, Ill.; grandchildren Christopher and Dorothy; brother Tadeuz; and sister Teresa.
She was predeceased by her son Andrzej Pietrasiak.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated in Poland in the near future. Flowers are welcomed.
