The borough recently added eight new stops signs placed at various intersections.

The Lodi Police Traffic Bureau took action after residents complained, Borough Manager Bruce T. Masopust said.

"[The roads] were going to be speedways unless we put in stop signs," he told Daily Voice.

Willard Street benefits greatly from the project, which targeted mostly one-way streets.
