Fountain That Killed Christmas In Lodi Will Be Removed
LODI, N.J. — The fountain outside of Lodi's borough hall will be removed after its chlorinated water was blamed for killing a Christmas tree and other flora surrounding it, NorthJersey.com reports.
Lodi's Borough Hall fountain will be removed due to its history of killing nearby flora.
According to North Jersey, heavy winds will splash water out of the fountain onto nearby grass and trees. The water's high chemical content causes any flora touched by the water to wither and die.
