LODI, N.J. -- The New Jersey Food and Clothing Rescue is seeking donations due to a surge of requests from people in need. Many of the families have several children so helping 10 or 20 families can in actuality be helping 30-70 people. Often these families are having to choose between paying rent or going hungry.
Monetary donations can be made via paypal at njfoodandclothingrescue@aol.com or by check made out to and sent to: N,J, Food & Clothing Rescue P.O. Box 106 Lodi, NJ 07644.
Donations can also be made via a GoFundMe page.
The rescue is also seeking a replacement for its aging van that is used to deliver donations to those in need. The rescue is seeking either a Sprinter van or a Chevy express cargo.
