Stella Tulli's reading with Theresa Caputo will air on Sunday, March 5 at 8 p.m.
Tulli's sister Viviana was 21 when she was strangled by Clifton's David Gooddell. He then drove her car head-on into a police cruiser with her body still in the passenger seat.
Tulli was watching the show in 2014 when she decided to send in an application. It wasn't until this time last year that she heard back.
"Just wanted to see what's up with my sister and see if she had anything she wanted to say," said Tulli, 41, who recently gave birth to her fourth child, Conor.
She says going on the show has given her a sense of closure.
"I'm always going to miss my sister, but I'm not stressed out about it anymore," she said. "Theresa validated things I already knew, but now I can stop dwelling on her death and move on."
