- Trivia Competition: Friday, Sept. 23, 7 p.m. at the library. Teams can be comprised of up to four people. Entry fee is $10 per person. Call 201-773-3189 to reserve a table. Hosted by Friends of the Garfield Library.
- Paint and Sip Night: Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. at Pinot's Palette in Ridgewood. Snacks provided; bring a favorite drink. Cost $35 per person. Sign up at the Library or call 201-773-3189.
- Library Book Sale: Saturday, Oct. 8 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 9 from 1-4 p.m. Donations accepted. No magazines, video tapes, encyclopedias or Reader's Digest.
