To help raise money for homeless Bergen County veterans, the Ford Motor Company is offering free test drives at the Garfield VFW on Sunday from 10 a.m to 4 p.m.
Jersey City Ford will bring Mustangs, Explorers, F150s, Fusions and Focuses, among other vehicles, for a spin.
The car company, in turn, will donate $20 to the Bergen County Tracers for every completed test drive -- up to $6,000 -- during the event.
"One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to a fund established by AJ Luna, the director of Veterans Services of Bergen County, to help homeless veterans obtain housing," Jersey City Ford's Eric Crafton told Daily Voice.
"We chose this cause because of the success that AJ has had and the need that exists in Bergen County," Crafton added.
All that's required is a valid New Jersey driver's license, Crafton said.
The test drives carry no obligation, he added.
