"It was very evident he spends a lot of time on his craft perfecting himself to offer the best possible instruction he can," Program Director for Garfield's YMCA Marisa Barcia said.
Muñoz will host a course at the YMCA in February that will focus on "The Kiss," a painting by Gustav Klimt.
It will be the second class hosted by Muñoz at the YMCA. He was originally introduced to the location for his martial arts ability, but also held a painting class in December.

A Paterson native, Muñoz partakes in painting, martial arts, meditation and music. Barcia said that mastering these skills can represent similar challenges.
"Mastering a kick is the same as bringing the piece alive on canvas," Barcia said.
The class will feature Muñoz going through the process of creating a personal version of The Kiss. All supplies will be provided and participants will be able to keep their work.
The painting class will take place on Feb. 10th. at the Garfield YMCA, 70 Outwater Lane, second floor. Tickets can be purchased for $35 prior to Feb. 3 or $40 from Feb. 3 to the 10th.
