Man Killed In Second Hit-Run In 24 Hours For Bergen County: Prosecutor A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Bergen County on Friday night, Oct 11 — the county's second fatal hit-and-run involving a pedestrian in 24 hours. The man was struck on Godwin Avenue near Witte Drive in Midland Park just before 7:10 p.m., Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. He was rushed to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center with serious injuries where he was ultimately pronounced dead.
