A New Jersey widow is taking legal action to obtain additional details from a New Jersey police department in the crash that killed her 32-year-old husband last fall. Matthew H. Bunner, a scientist with Bristol Myers Squibb and a University of Pennsylvania graduate, was out for a walk when he was struck and killed by a 66-year-old driver in East Brunswick at about 8:15 p.m. on Sept. 1, 2023, according to the police report and his obituary. More than a year after a UPenn student from New Jersey died, her family has filed a wrongful death suit against Panera. Sarah Katz, of Jersey City, died at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center on Sept. 10, 2022, according to her obituary.
