In a newly-released forecast map, parts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania are expected to get up to four inches of snow in this second winter storm of the week. A pair of storms heading to New Jersey will bring mostly rain and some snow this weekend and early next week, forecasters say. Parts of Morris and Sussex County could see up to six inches of snow that will begin to fall overnight Friday, March 10 into Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service. Philly Fugitive On US Marshals 'Top 10' List Captured After NJ Standoff: Report
One of the US Marshals' "10 Most Wanted Homicide Fugitives" in Eastern Pennsylvania has been captured in South Jersey, NJ Advance Media reported. Ramonte Foster, 18, of Philadelphia, was arrested Tuesday, May 17 when a Salem City police officer spotted him outside a home on Morrison Avenue at about 7:30 p.m., the outlet said. Snow Projections Released For End Of Weekend Storm In NJ
A warm weekend could come to a cold and snowy end in New Jersey, forecasters say. Between one and three inches is being projected in parts of Central and South Jersey Saturday evening into Sunday morning, AccuWeather.com reports. North Jersey could get some snow on Sunday, but likely a dusting, according to the National Weather Service. Temps will be in the mid-to-high-50s from Friday to Saturday night when they are expected to plummet to the mid-30s. A 183-pound white shark who took a trip to the New Jersey coast late last month is back for more summer fun. Martha, a juvenile white shark who measures approximately 7 feet long, was "pinged" just before 8 a.m., Wednesday morning. A Jersey City man charged with running a drug ring that stretched into South Jersey has pleaded guilty to two killings and also to charges in connection with three other shootings, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said Tuesday.
