Arrest Made In Hit-And-Run That Seriously Injured Route 46 Pedestrian : Ridgefield Park PD Authorities arrested a tow truck driver from Philadelphia who they said kept on going after hitting and seriously injuring a 67-year-old pedestrian crossing Route 46 six weeks ago. Naser Abu Ali, 20, was driving a 2014 Ford transit van that hit Elizabeth Crum as she crossed at the light on Route 46 (Winant Avenue) in Ridgefield Park on Sept. 24, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. West New York Driver Nabbed In Hit-Run That Seriously Injured Man, 56 A West New York woman was arrested in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a 56-year-old man last December, authorities charged. Temilayo Okeowo, 44, fled the scene after she hit a New York City man crossing 66th Street at the intersection of Boulevard East on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said in a release. Hudson County Man Who Struck 2 Pedestrians Was DUI, Prosecutor Says A 37-year-old North Bergen man was under the influence of drugs when he struck two pedestrians with his car last year in Jersey City, authorities said. Lawrence Smith was arrested Monday morning in connection with the Nov. 23, 2019 incident, that injured a 50-year-old woman and her 22-year-old son, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said.
