Ice Cream Truck Tumbles Down Palisades, Good Samaritans Help Rescue Driver
HEROES: A group of good Samaritans rushed to a driver's aid Thursday after his ice cream truck tumbled partly down the Palisades above the Hudson River in Fort Lee. Chris Fuschini said he was enjoying a day at Ross Dock just north of the George Washington Bridge when the Jersey Shore-based "Lexylicious" ice cream sandwich truck tipped off Henry Hudson Drive shortly after 4 p.m. The 2014 Ford truck had fallen about 20 feet into the trees before landing on its left side, Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Sgt. GWB Jumper's Body Recovered From Hudson
Rescuers recovered the body of a 21-year-old man who jumped to his death Thursday afternoon from the lower level of the George Washington Bridge. Port Authority police who heard an NYPD alert of a possible suicidal person at the George Washington Bridge found an abandoned vehicle on the Manhattan-bound side shortly after noon, authority spokeswoman Lenis Rodrigues said. Less than 10 minutes later, officers "saw a man floating in the Hudson River below the westbound side of the bridge," she said. This British Billionaire Just Parked His Superyacht In Fort Lee
A $300 million yacht owned by British investor Joe Lewis is parked just north of the George Washington Bridge on the Hudson River. The powerful Abeking & Rasmussen flagship yacht can be seen from Ross Dock and boasts a paddle tennis court, hidden cinema and tons and tons of balconies. Lewis currently lives in the Bahamas and is estimated to be worth $5.3 billion.
