Van Hits House In Fair Lawn Crash, Two Seriously Injured
Two people were seriously injured when a van slammed into a house following a collision with a sedan Friday morning in Fair Lawn. The morning glare was intense when the vehicles crashed, sending the van into the corner of the house on Rosalie Street at Plaza Road, across from Fair Lawn Fire Co. 3, shortly after 9 a.m. The Saturn sedan, driven by an 82-year-old Ringwood man, was headed south on Plaza Road when it was struck by a Honda van driven by a 57-year-old Nutley woman who failed to yield while heading west on Rosalie, Fair Lawn Police Sgt. : Bodies Of Teen Ramapo Lake Drowning Victims Recovered
UPDATE: The bodies of a 17-year-old boy and girl from Essex County who drowned in Ramapo Lake in Oakland during Tuesday evening's storm were both recovered hours later, responders said. Matthew Poole and Isabella Brodsky were about to become seniors at Livingston High School. “They were swimming when the storm hit," a law enforcement official told Daily Voice.
