Giants rookie quarterback Tommy DeVito, a Don Bosco graduate, addressed the furor caused by a canceled signing at a Morristown pizzeria that ended up becoming national news.
DeVito, who still lives with his parents in Cedar Grove, spoke to reporters after Giants practice on Wednesday, Dec. 20 and said "some stuff just slipped through the cracks."

They might be deep in New Jersey, but they've sure got New York state of mind.
Six pizzerias, most in the central part of the Garden State, have been crowned by the Washington Post as having the best New York-style pizza.
The eateries earned recognition as part of a new national database by the Post that categorizes the best restaurants in each state specializing in Chicago, Detroit, Neapolitan, New York, Roman, Sicilian, and Tavern-style pizza.
According to the rankings, the pizzerias that are pros at serving up NY-style pies are:

The Giaquintos are back in South Hackensack with their trademark thin crust pizza.
Anthony Giaquinto, whose roots in Bergen County's pizza scene run deep, has opened Fat Bastard and Sons at 434 Route 46, continuing a family legacy of pizzerias.
Giaquinto previously ran Tony G's in South Hackensack, The Balcony in Carlstadt, G Millz in Hoboken and Prime Time Sports Bar in Carlstadt.
