Pre-Dawn Diner Brawler Pepper-Sprayed By North Arlington Police
North Arlington police had to pepper-spray an unruly diner patron who got physical with them, authorities said. Sebastian Echeverri , 21, “became disorderly and verbally confrontational” with officers responding to a 4:20 a.m. brawl Sunday at the Arlington Diner, Police Chief Scott Hedenberg said. Echeverri “ignored repeated instructions by officers, and eventually grabbed one officer, attempting to immobilize his arm and hand,” Hedenberg said. New Milford PD: DWI Motorist Fights With Police, Damages Cruiser, Threatens Their Families
A New Milford woman smacked two borough police officers, damaged a patrol car door on the way to headquarters and threatened to kill the officers and their families after a DWI stop, authorities said. Officer Bryan Mone stopped the car driven by 25-year-old Alexandra Defino for a traffic violation on River Road late Thursday night, Detective Sergeant Kevin Van Saders said. Defino “became increasingly loud and uncooperative,” refused to submit to a sobriety test, then “began fighting with police and resisting arrest,” Van Saders said.
