Kamala Harris Arrives In NJ
US Vice President Kamala Harris has arrived in New Jersey. She arrived via a pair of Air Force Twos at the Atlantic City International Airport around 10:35 a.m. Monday, July 18, NJ Advance Media reports. Harris will discuss abortion rights at the NAACP's 113th national convention in Atlantic City, highlighting the Biden administration's work across the US. She will then meet with nearly two dozen state legislators and local officials to discuss the Roe v. Wade overturn and abortion/reproductive rights.

While police maintain that the death of Donte Perez Jones was a suicide, his family believes he was hanged, and that his death may have been a homicide, they are saying on a GoFundMe campaign. Security Guard Charged In Dog Attack At NJ Restaurant
A 33-year-old security guard whose K9 officer bit a man outside of a New Jersey restaurant has been charged with aggravated assault, authorities said. Steven T. Rudy was working as a private guard during the incident involving a 26-year-old man outside of Adelphia Restaurant in Deptford on July 29, the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office said. The man, Khalif Hunter, of Burlington City, began yelling at Rudy and other guards after getting up from a curb, authorities said.
